Your first completed result for that date counts in Personal Stats. Replays and challenges from the past 30 days are labelled Practice; they do not replace that first result or add extra wins. Reviewing your original result updates it.

A new challenge starts at 00:00 UTC. The setup page shows a countdown and your local reset time.

Tap SHARE MY RESULT or COPY LINK to challenge a friend on the same date. You choose where to share. Shared results contain the score and challenge date, not your answers.

A friend’s link can show their score as a casual target. Play the same dated challenge when you are ready, then compare results. Shared scores may include reviewed decisions or practice; they are not independently verified or part of a public ranking.

Choose Friendly or Standard, then 30, 60 or 90 seconds per round. QWIK’s answers are locked before your clock starts. It cannot see what you type.

Both players get the same letter, categories and round time. Enter as many of the five answers as you can and tap LOCK ANSWERS, or let the timer save them. Early locking does not shorten the round.

The highest total after all five rounds wins the match. Equal totals mean a shared victory. A round win and the overall match win can belong to different players.

Category packs: Classic, Family favourites, Around the world and Caribbean life. Choose a pack at setup; it stays the same throughout that match. Personal Stats keeps these packs separate.

Play five rounds. Relaxed starts at 90 seconds, Quick at 60 and QWIK at 30. Adult rounds become five seconds shorter each round, with a minimum of 20 seconds.

Type one answer at a time. NEXT CATEGORY saves it and moves on; SUBMIT ANSWER saves the fifth. END ROUND EARLY keeps completed answers and leaves the rest blank.

Solo scoring is different. Accepted answers earn points with streak and speed bonuses. Five accepted answers add a 20-point completion bonus, plus the seconds remaining if you finish before the timer ends.

Reviewing an answer recalculates your score and valid streak. The result page shows the breakdown, round target, run total and personal best.

Adult Solo has a Show a clue button. Clues use your available balance; the timer keeps running. Buying more clues is optional.

One person creates the game and becomes host. Friends join using the room code, invite link or join QR code. The host starts the game and moves everyone through the rounds.

In adult games, choose individuals, pairs or trios. Each person or team joins once. A team shares one device and one answer sheet.

Save answers with NEXT, then LOCK ANSWERS on the last category, or use FINISH ROUND. The first finisher starts a final countdown: 10 seconds for adults, 20 for ages 5–7, or 15 for ages 8–11. It cannot extend the original timer. If everyone finishes, the round ends immediately.

Matching answers stay at half points even if three or more players match. Blank or rejected answers earn 0. Repeating your own answer in the same round also earns 0 for the repeats.

Adult speed bonus: the fastest player or team to lock five answers that are all accepted earns 5 extra points. The host’s final review decides eligibility. Exact time ties each receive the bonus. This bonus is not doubled; children’s games do not have it.

Everyone sees the answer review. AI suggests decisions; the host corrects them and taps LOCK SCORES. The host then chooses NEXT ROUND, or FINAL RESULTS after round five. Keep the same room code for the next round. After five rounds, the highest total wins; a tie goes to a 15-second QWIK-OFF. Each tied player submits once. The first answer received by the server that AI confirms fits the letter and category wins. If checking cannot establish a clear winner, the leaders share the victory.

Choose ages 5–7 for 120 seconds or ages 8–11 for 90 seconds. Play solo or with friends using familiar categories and easier letters. The host chooses the level for a friends game.

The first letter is already entered. A grown-up can help with reading and typing. Use Read question and hint or Hear explanation when available.

Children’s solo rounds keep the same time each round. Use NEXT to save each answer and FINISHED! for the fifth, or FINISH ROUND to stop early. A grown-up can review decisions using Grown-up: check answer and holding the confirmation button for three seconds. Children’s solo scores use the Solo streak, speed and all-five bonuses; children’s friends games use the multiplayer points table, with no speed bonus.

In the multiplayer lobby, tap SHOW JOIN QR. Friends scan it on their phones to join. A room code or invite link works too.

The host can choose OPEN TV DISPLAY or COPY TV LINK. Open the TV link in a TV browser, or cast or mirror that display from another device.

The TV shows the game and scores without taking a player’s place. It is a view-only display, not a controller. Keep its viewing link within your game-night group. All devices need internet.

Tap PERSONAL STATS to see your mastery badges, Daily Challenge record and completed five-round battles against QWIK. Battle records are kept separately by difficulty, timer and category pack.

Records are private to this browser on this device. No account is needed. They do not automatically appear on another device; clearing browser data removes them.

Practice does not add wins. Reviewing a recorded answer updates its result rather than counting it as another game. Ordinary Solo keeps its own personal best. Badges reward personal milestones; there is no daily streak to lose and no penalty for taking a break.
